Part 34: Dead Man Walking (John 11:1-44)

One of Jesus' close friends, Lazarus, became very ill. Lazarus' sisters sent word to Jesus that his dear friend was deathly ill, but Jesus delayed for two days before going to Lazarus' aid. During this time, Lazarus died and his sisters faced a crisis of faith. For Jesus, however, it was an opportunity to show the world that He has power over death.

The Heart of Worship

As we live out the core values of our church, the glue that holds it all together is worship. The reason we do what we do is because we worship God. However, it's important to remember that worship isn't an event, it's a lifestyle.

Part 33: Unbelief Exposed (John 10:22-42)

In John 10, has the final confrontation with the religious leaders of his public ministry. He once again exposes the reasons for their unbelief and declares himself to be God in the flesh.

A Mirror for the Soul

The bible says that the human heart is deceitful and will lie to us; therefore, it's very difficult for us to see what's really going on inside of our hearts. The good news is that Jesus tells us about a mirror for our souls that reveals what's really happening deep inside.

Part 32: The Good Shepherd (John 10:1-21)

In John 10, Jesus describes himself as the Good Shepherd. However, most of us don't really know what a shepherd in 1st-century Israel did, so we don't really know what Jesus is saying about himself. When we learn what Jesus was really saying about himself and our relationship with Him, our hearts overflow with gratitude!

Growing Together

Following Jesus was never meant to be an individualistic pursuit. God's plan all along was for followers of Jesus to grow deeper in Christ together.

Part 31: Sight for the Blind (John 9:1-41)

Jesus heals a man who had been born blind and in the process exposes the spiritual blindness of the Phariees and teaches us about the cure for our own spiritual blindness.

The Story

Christians find themselves caught up in the grand story of God creating the universe, sin breaking God's creation, and Jesus dying to redeem mankind. However, the story doesn't end with redemption. There's something more God wants to do in us and He uses the truth of His Word to accomplish it.

Part 30: The Truth Will Set You Free (John 8:31-59)

Jesus said that true believers will abide in His Word and the truth will set you free. What does that mean? What is truth? How do we find truth? How do we abide in His Word? On what authority does Jesus make these claims? Listen to discover answers to these and many more questions.
